All Consumer Reporting Agencies are required by the industry to conduct a site inspection of the commercial business address of all new client locations where Consumer Reports (background screening reports) will be sent. There is a cost to MCSS, LTD. for this inspection and for small-volume accounts we must pass it along. After the initial account setup you are only charged for the searches you conduct and in many cases will receive volume discounts. If your volume level qualifies for a discount we can usually absorb the cost of the site inspection as well.
Why shouldn’t I simply use a national on-line firm to conduct background checks?
Automated systems used by large on-line criminal record research companies often provide incomplete information and offer little, if any, personal service determining what background screening services you may need. MCSS, Ltd. is a locally owned and managed firm staffed by retired law enforcement investigators. They understand the needs of local businesses and are easily accessible via phone, in-person, or via e-mail.
